Carsten Erner, PhD

Carsten is Atlas Point’s Head of Data Science. Prior to joining Atlas Point, Carsten held senior positions in analytics and credit across multiple fintech startups. Carsten was a postdoctoral scholar in Behavioral Decision Making at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and he has published research on consumer financial decision making and capital markets. He received his PhD in Finance and MSc in Business Administration from the University of Münster.

Carsten lives in Alexandria, VA, and enjoys traveling to new destinations near and far.
